VIRAL Chickpea Nutella Recipe

The "Viral Chickpea Nutella" tastes more like a "Chocolate Brownie Batter Protein Spread". But it was still quite delicious, and is a great nut-free, oil-free & vegan alternative.



RECIPE

1 16 oz can chickpeas, drained & rinsed

4 medjool dates, pitted, and soaked in hot water so they blend smoother

1 tbsp sweetener of choice, or an extra date if you like things sweeter

1/2 cup cocoa powder

1/4 cup dark chocolate

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 tsp vanilla

1/2-1 cup hot water, as needed to get it super smooth


Combine all ingredients in a food processor or high speed blender until smooth. Add additional hot water to get it super smooth.


Enjoy as a dip for crackers, fruit, or on your morning toast. Keep in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 5 days
